Playhouse Project
This playhouse project served as an excellent beginning building trades project. We applied vinyl siding, metal trim work around the top, and made our own windows to keep costs low. The materials were at a minimum and I was able to buy shorter boards so there was less waste. I printed off the blueprints and made packets. The kids enjoyed the project, they worked in groups of 4 and were able to build 4 in 12 weeks. We used vinyl siding and aluminum trim. The project was around $500 a shed. Three sold quickly and I think the last one will sell soon.
